It helps enormously if you include: the email address on your account, the link to the deck or document (or its title), what you expected and what happened instead, whether you were on the web or the iOS or Android app, and the time it happened. A screenshot is worth three paragraphs.
Common questions
Check the spam or promotions folder first — that is where it almost always is. Codes expire 10 minutes after they are sent, so if you have been hunting for a while, ask for a fresh one rather than typing the old one. Make sure you are typing the code into the same browser or app that asked for it. If nothing arrives at all, the address may be on our do-not-email list from an earlier unsubscribe — write to us and we will clear it.
Your email address is your identity on cue, so a Google or Apple sign-in with the same address lands in the same account as the emailed code — you do not end up with two. Apple’s “Hide My Email” gives us a relay address instead of your real one, which would otherwise look like a different person; in the iOS app, Settings → Connect Apple ID attaches it to the account you already have.
A phone on its own is enough. Open the deck in the cue app, tap Present, and share the audience link (or the join QR) with the room — anyone can open it in a browser, with no account and nothing to install. From the same screen you can turn on live captions with translation, broadcast your camera and microphone, and cast the deck to a paired screen. Your phone stays the remote: your slide moves everybody’s.
Every published deck has one access tier, and you choose it. Public: anyone with the link. Invite-gated: only you and the addresses you named, who have to sign in. Secret link: an unguessable URL that needs no account, and that you can rotate whenever you want — rotating it instantly kills the old one. You can change the tier at any time without republishing, and take a deck offline reversibly.
When you share a deck with tracking on, you can see who opened it, how far they read and how long they stayed. Readers who send Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control are counted as an anonymous open and nothing more. Receipts are kept for 180 days. The details are in the privacy policy.
Reading and collecting decks is free and always will be. Authoring needs an author plan on the account, billed monthly through Stripe; the mobile apps sell nothing. Manage or cancel a plan from the billing portal on your web account — cancelling keeps your access until the end of the period you already paid for. Billing questions go to the same address as everything else.
On the web: /account → Delete account. In the iOS app: Settings → Delete account. This is irreversible. It removes the decks and documents you own and everything published from them, your uploaded files, your sharing records, your read receipts and your sessions, and cancels any subscription. Export or download anything you want to keep first. If you only want to stop the emails, tell us and we will suppress the address instead.
Open the deck and use the Report control — it is in the header of the reading view, in the footer of a document, and in the status line of a live presentation. Pick a reason and send; you do not need an account, and the author is never told who reported them. If you cannot reach the deck, or you are a rights holder sending a formal notice, write to an@humanmeetsai.com. What we do and how fast is set out in the acceptable-use policy.
